Scholarships

High School Scholarship

Career College of Northern Nevada awards scholarships to local high school graduates in an effort to give something back to the community. These career training scholarships are awarded annually. Each high school in the Northern Nevada market, including parts of North Eastern California, is offered a total of $8,000.00 to award between three deserving graduates of the school. Selection criteria are left to the high school as long as the following three guidelines are met.

The selected high school graduate must have:

  1. Desire to develop skills in a technology, legal or allied health career field.
  2. Likelihood of successful completion.
  3. Financial need.
  4. Applications for the Career College of Northern Nevada scholarship must be received by the published deadline. Selected recipients must begin their studies at CCNN in the summer or fall terms following the student’s high school graduation.

More information about eligibility and application procedures can be found on the application itself. Applications can be obtained from the college. High School Counselors can request multiple copies to be distributed through their office by calling the college's admissions director at (775) 856-2266. Students and parents can request a copy of the application either through their High School Counselor or by contacting the college directly.
